Fulton County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who escaped from the Fulton County Detention Center.
On Sunday, October 19, 2008, at approximately 8:15 PM, two state inmates escaped from the Fulton County Detention Center in Hickman, KY. The two are Tommy Lee Southard, 28 of Elizabethtown, KY and
Jeremy Phelps, 23 of Lebanon Junction, KY. Mr. Southard was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. He is approximately 5’6” tall and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Mr. Southard was
originally charged and incarcerated on a 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment charge (a class D felony) out of Hardin County, KY. Mr. Phelps was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He is approximately 6’0” tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Mr. Phelps was originally charged and incarcerated on Flagrant Nonsupport and Escape 2nd Degree charges (both class D felonies) out of Hardin County, KY.
